The process for air freight export is similar to that for sea freight export. First, we accept the customer's entrustment, prepare relevant documents, pick up the goods and deliver them to the warehouse, weigh and store them, prepare documents for customs clearance, label and take photos, pass security inspection and deliver the goods, and finally, pack the goods onto pallets for shipment.
Let's take a closer look at what documents and materials need to be prepared?
1. Customs declaration documents
1. Invoice, packing list, contract, customs declaration power of attorney, customs declaration form, declaration elements are all provided, and transportation insurance is covered
2. Manuals, account books, etc. should be authorized to the designated customs broker in advance
3. For special trade methods such as return shipments, a statement of circumstances and necessary approval documents are required
II. Delivery documents
1. The security checklist should be made in duplicate, with the official seal affixed at the position of the entruster in the left middle
2. Various guarantees to be provided (the format will be provided at the time of booking)
3. Special names such as chemical products and dangerous goods have specific format files
III. Official Documents
1. For special product names, such as those involving chemical products or magnetic inspection, an officially recognized transportation condition appraisal certificate is required
2. For special trade methods, supporting documents provided by customs (commodity inspection) are required
IV. Random files
1. Invoice and packing list required for customs clearance abroad accompanying the goods
2. Documents required for import at the destination port, such as certificates of origin and fumigation certificates
As we all know, sea transportation requires containers for loading. But what about air transportation? It uses pallets or AKE containers. When it comes to air transportation, volume is very important. Why? Because air cargo has to pass through security inspection machines, which have restrictions on the size and weight of the cargo. For those goods that are too wide or too heavy, the security inspection regulations require them to be placed for 24 hours.
For air freight, packaging is crucial. Given the numerous operational steps involved in air export, coupled with the aircraft's on-demand loading, the packaging materials for goods must possess sufficient rigidity. Special precision instruments even require packing in wooden boxes. Additionally, since the unloading and loading of goods at the apron are conducted outdoors, proper moisture protection measures must be taken for the goods.
